In today's digital age, remote work has become the new normal. The flexibility to work from anywhere is a dream come true for many, allowing for better work-life balance, less time stuck in traffic, and the freedom to design our days. But at Adoer, we’ve added our own quirky twist to the remote work setup. We say we work remotely, but from Bangalore. What does that mean? Let me explain.

The Best of Both Worlds

We’re a team that thrives on flexibility, creativity, and collaboration. Like many modern companies, we’ve embraced the remote work lifestyle. But here’s the catch—we’re not scattered across time zones or countries. We’re all right here in Bangalore. Well, almost.

From Monday to Friday, we’re each working from our own cozy corners of the city. Whether it's a home office, a coffee shop, or the comfort of our living rooms, we’re connected through our screens, tackling tasks, brainstorming ideas, and keeping Adoer moving forward. But twice a week, things get a little more personal.

The Apartment HQ

Twice a week, we trade in our virtual meeting rooms for something a little more tangible—my apartment. Yes, that’s right. Our headquarters, for those two days, is a Bangalore apartment. There’s something uniquely charming about gathering in a space that’s more homey than corporate. It’s like bringing the best of remote work into a shared space where ideas flow, collaboration is natural, and, let’s be honest, the coffee is way better.

Our apartment HQ is where we connect, not just as coworkers, but as a team. It’s where we catch up over a cup of tea, brainstorm on a whiteboard in the living room, and share laughs that just don’t translate as well over Zoom. It’s where we blend the flexibility of remote work with the camaraderie of a shared workspace, creating a work environment that’s productive, personal, and just a little bit quirky.

Why Bangalore?

You might wonder, why Bangalore? Well, Bangalore is more than just a city—it’s a melting pot of innovation, creativity, and energy. It’s a place where the old meets the new, where traditional cafes sit next to tech hubs, and where the entrepreneurial spirit is palpable. It’s the perfect backdrop for a company like Adoer, where we’re building something that’s both innovative and deeply personal.

Working remotely in Bangalore means we get to tap into the city’s vibrant culture while enjoying the perks of flexibility. We can work from our favorite spots, be inspired by the buzz of the city, and still come together twice a week to create something amazing in person. It’s the perfect blend of independence and collaboration.

Making It Work

Balancing remote work with in-person meetings in an apartment might sound unconventional, but that’s exactly why it works. We’re not just coworkers—we’re a close-knit team with a shared vision. Meeting twice a week in a more informal, personal setting keeps us grounded and connected. It reminds us that while we’re building a digital tool, the relationships and interactions behind it are very real.

This setup also gives us the flexibility to work in a way that suits us individually, while still ensuring we have those crucial face-to-face moments. It’s the best of both worlds—a modern, remote-friendly approach with a touch of the traditional office vibe, all wrapped up in the unique flavor of Bangalore.

Join the Quirk

So, yes, we work remotely—but from Bangalore. It’s a little quirky, a lot of fun, and it’s how we do things at Adoer. We believe that work doesn’t have to be confined to an office or defined by strict hours. It’s about finding what works for you and your team, and for us, that’s a mix of remote flexibility with a dash of in-person connection.

If you’re ever in Bangalore on one of our in-person days, don’t be surprised if you find us in an apartment, coffee cups in hand, making things happen. Because that’s how we roll—remotely, but with a local twist.
